Hannigan Memorial Company was first opened in 1976 by Mike and Judy Hannigan. Mike worked in the monument business his whole life, and had a vision of opening a business that would provide quality service and offer superior craftsmanship to his customers in the Grove City and Columbus area. The Hannigans began the business working out of their home.
Mike’s monument business continued to prosper, so in 1979 they moved into their first location on Garden Court, right off of Stringtown Road in Grove City, Ohio. By 1995, their business had continued to grow, so they relocated to a larger, more spacious location that included a manufacturing plant. Both of their children, Sean and Colleen, began helping out with the family business.
Hannigan Memorial Company is still located in the beautiful historic district of Grove City on Franklin Street, just west of town. Before the move, Mike Hannigan passed away and Judy took a more active role in running the business. Their children continued to work for the family business, and Sean still does engraving work for the company.
Hannigan Memorial Company has continued to serve Grove City and the surrounding communities in the Columbus area. The company remains committed to the Hannigan family’s vision of providing quality service and superior memorial products to their customers.
